Andrew and Christie had an awesome wedding. They held the ceremony in the beautiful chapel at TSS (The Southport School) and the reception was held at the Southport Golf Club.
It was the darkest, stormy, rainy day I have seen on the Gold Coast for a long long time. Not that you would have been able to tell from the attitude of any one in the bridal party, not a single gripe, in fact no one even mentioned it, no one cared, a little rain wasn’t going to put a damper on this day.
It was as if everyone knew that as soon as the ceremony was over we were going to get short break in the weather to take the “formal” pics of the day, and that was exactly what happened. In fact without all the rain, to create the puddle we used for a reflection, and the dark and stormy we sky, we wouldn’t have been able to create my favourite photo of the day. (the first one below)
Andrew, Christie, it was a privilege to be a part of your day. Thank you for choosing us to photograph your wedding for you.

It was an amazing day for a summer wedding on the beach. Cara was the most beautiful elegant bride and Matt was the happiest groom I have ever seen, he did not stop smiling from the moment Cara came into view.
It was such a great day to have the privilege of being a part of. There were so many stunning images from the day, the hardest part of doing this blog was choosing which ones to post. Below is a small selection of a few of my personal favourites.

Bryony and Mark were married at Amore Gardens on the Gold Coast. I have shot weddings at some of the most beautiful venues in the United States, New Zealand and Australia, and Amore Gardens is definitely one of my favourites.
The bridal entrance is the most romantic, and stunning setting I have seen bar none. Watching Bryony walk through the gardens, over the bridges, dopping into and out of sight amoungst the bright green foliage, seeing more and more detail as she approached ever closer. It was awesome.
Congratulations Mark and Bryony on a wonderful day in an amazing setting.
Any future brides that plan on getting married at Amore Gardens, give me a call, I can’t wait to shoot here again.
